How to buy second hand iphone at Greenhills Shopping Mall

Last june i brought my second hand slightly used iphone 3g 16gb at greenhills shopping mall. Buying second hand slightly used phones is quite good because you get a good quality phone for a lot cheaper price but theres also some cautions to consider. I am buying second phones at greenhills since i start studying college, from nokia 8250, 3310,5510, O2 phones, sony ericson P-series to apple iphone, (so far iphone is the best) i alreay bought dozens of phones from there and all of them our second hand phones, sometime i get a good deal sometimes i become a victim of my own impulsive buying, haha..

First:: the first thing to consider when buying an iphone is do you really want an iphone? iPhone is not just a simple smartphone, if you never use an iphone before for sure you will experience some difficulties using it... i can say, (believe me) that its a complex phone, you cannot just simply drag and drop music using explorer copy files, itunes is a must for iphones... second down side of iphone is its battery life, 1 day of battery life is its common standytime.

Second:: How to go to Greenhills Shopping Mall. So after your mind has decided to get yourself an iphone its time to go to greenhills. Please i want you to know that the "tiangge" of cellphones at greenhills have a routine that every month every stalls on the tiangge closes for 2-3days for shuffling of their "pwesto" (rented space) stalls are changing location once in a while, at least once a month so better text some of your friends near San Juan Greenhills if the tiangge are open. There's so many times i wasted going there from makati just to find out that the tiangge stalls are closed for the shuffle.

Third:: Heres what to consider when you are already there at the shopping mall and the stall at the tiangge are also there. First think that you have many choices here at Greenhills. So dont be bothered by the sales ladies that are trying to lure you at their stalls. Their quite annoying sometimes. Always look around. Remember you have many choices to choose from! So dont be stuck just one stall trying to negotiate, feel free to leave them if needed.

Heres the checklist of a good second hand iphone

1. Test the signal if has network coverage
2. Test the temperature of the iphone if it hot dont buy it, try to find another
3. Test the wi-fi connection
4. Test the GPS by connecting first thru wifi then open the GMAP App (all iphone has that except 2G? im not sure)
5. Test touchscreen if every is ok and responsive
6. Ask for a complete package iphone, the one that has a box, manual, since if they have the full package with them that means thats great deal.
7. Look carefully at its housing/casing if it has scratches and bumps
8. Consider the battery life, you can easy check the usage hours on settings>general>usage ... - this is important since this is how you can make sure that the battery really last longer.
9. Ask for original headset and charger. Why? Because if charger or headset are not included you have to buy that seperately at a high price. its hard to have just a "Class A" charger, that might destroy your iphone's battery.
10. Ask for receipt ofcourse and the warranty!
